Welcome to our next English Language Cafe/Multi Kulti collaboration! We’re thrilled to have you join us as we explore Persian cuisine.

Persian food is not just about nourishment; it’s a profound expression of love and unity. Despite the diverse ethnicities within Iran, from Persians and Azeris to Kurds and Lurs, sharing a meal brings everyone together, fostering a deep sense of community.

Each region’s unique flavors enrich the nation’s culinary tapestry, showcasing diversity within unity. Dishes such as chelow kebab, ghormeh sabzi, and fesenjan are celebrations of life and familial bonds. Let’s appreciate how food bridges gaps, creates lasting memories, and unites us all. Welcome once again!

The night’s presenter, Mahsa Nouraei, is an Iranian poet and language teacher. She is also a food enthusiast and art lover! Mahsa was one of the stars of the Migrants Got Talent project as she hosted numerous culinary and cultural events. For her efforts, last year she received the national award Volunteer of the Year! ELC and Multi Kulti are thrilled to welcome Mahsa again!

After the lecture, we will enjoy ELC’s Bartender’s signature lemonade and spend approximately one hour speaking in small groups as part of our English language exchange.
